Having worked in both Primary and Secondary schools as an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) working one on one with a wide range of learning and behaviour challenges. Creating new approaches with SENCo’s and meetings with CAMHS. Also growing up with a family member who is Autistic and having 2 children of my own, all fed into the creation of CAN YOU SEE ME? I have read an abundance of books to children who just want to be seen and heard but get overwhelmed by the sea of noise that they live in. Finding topics that children could relate to and ask questions about was the challenge and how this project started.
